Health Empowering Humanity was founded by three individuals with experience living among, learning from, and serving the poor. Although their professional backgrounds are diverse, Geoff, Monica, and Mike were united by a common dream that one day every person on earth will have access to basic health care, medicine, education, and opportunity. This dream inspired the creation of a multidisciplinary leadership team, bringing together experts in science, medicine, public health, business, and community leadership. Every HEH team member is committed to furthering the dream that the poor health and needless suffering that so often accompany extreme poverty will, one day, become horrors of the past.
