Mike first traveled to Haiti in January 2004, with an organization that provides medical check-ups and education for children living in poverty. His work was based in the Cite Soleil neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, and the outreach extended into several remote villages. Mike witnessed first-hand the devastating consequences of growing up without access to basic medical care. No child should have to suffer in this way. Mike co-founded HEH in an effort to improve the lives of the medically underserved, one health clinic at a time. | | | |
